Dignity Health reaches agreement with UnitedHealthcare

Dignity Health is pleased to announce we have reached a new agreement with UnitedHealthcare and Sierra Health in Arizona, California and Nevada that will allow UnitedHealthcare and Sierra Health-insured patients to maintain in-network access to Dignity Health services, facilities and healthcare professionals. This is a win for our patients who deserve access to high-quality, high-value healthcare services close to home, and we appreciate their patience as we have worked through this process.

We were able to reach agreement on new contracts before the previous contracts were set to expire on January 1, 2022, so there will be no lapse in network status for our hospitals and healthcare professionals.

From the beginning, our goal in working with UnitedHealthcare and Sierra Health has always been about ensuring we can continue to meet the needs of our patients today and in the future. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put a spotlight on the truly essential nature of local care.
